NFL Week 13 is upon us, which means it’s time to scour the fantasy football waiver for the top pickups of the week ahead of Wednesday.

Whether you’re looking to replace a top player who sustained an unfortunate injury or eyeing darkhorse players who have popped out of nowhere through the first few games of the season, fantasy football experts Sean Koerner and Chris Raybon have you covered with their best Week 13 waiver wire adds.

NFL Week 13 Waiver Wire Breakdown

As usual, the duo hopped on the Fantasy Flex pod on Tuesday and discussed all things related to Week 13 waiver candidates. Among the players highlighted are a few players available in over 60% of leagues. Find out more below.

NFL Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds

* Availability in home leagues is noted in parentheses.

Quarterback

Will Levis (88%)

  • 0 teams on bye this week, and no one in my top 20 is really available in 50%+ of leagues, so not a great week to stream, and you likely have a top 20 QB in your lineup
  • But for guys outside of that range, Drake Maye and Will Levis stand out as guys who could potentially provide QB1 numbers this week
  • Will Levis has been heating up lately; last 3 games after returning from injury, he’s the QB12
  • Yes, he had another bad pick 6 and turned in yet another great meme with his head down run
  • But that play was worth -1 point in most leagues and led to him getting the ball right back and needing to throw more. So being aggressive isn’t the worst thing from a QB from a fantasy perspective
  • He also has sneaky rushing upside
  • He’s my QB22, but he’s really the highest QB that’s actually available in leagues

Running Back

Jeremy McNichols

  • He’s sort of the Ameer Abdullah type pick up this week
  • Both Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler are looking iffy for Week 13
  • If both are ruled out, it’ll be McNichols operating as the lead back, with Chris Rodriguez also mixing in
  • Wouldn’t put in too much of a bid since you do need to get lucky and have both RBs ruled out, but if you are desperate for an option this week or have BRob, it makes sense to put in a small bid
  • 0 teams are on BYE this week, so most RB3/Flex options are taken

That brings me to my next point. I think this is the healthiest the RB position has ever been, especially now that we are in Week 13

Yes, JK Dobbins, Brian Robinson, David Montgomery, or Alexander Mattison might not play this week. Even if they do, they may only be out of one game.

So with Isiah Pacheco back this week, we really have every single starting RB potentially healthy in Week 14 and beyond.

Heading into the fantasy playoffs, we are likely to see some starting RBs start to miss time, and their backups could end up being true “league winners.”

It’s almost impossible to predict which RBs will get hurt, but it is possible to predict which backups offer the most upside: Blake Corum, Trey Benson, Zach Charbonnet, Tyler Allgeier.

Trey Benson

  • Clearly, James Conner’s handcuff
  • Conner has yet to play a full season in 8 years
  • He’s yet to miss a game this year, might be the starting RB most likely to miss a game down the stretch? Again, impossible to predict injuries
  • But I think Benson is currently one of the better stashes and would offer potentially high-end RB2 value

Wide Receiver

Dontayvion Wicks (85%)

  • Romeo Doubs picked up a concussion on Sunday
  • Given the Packers play Thursday, it seems highly unlikely he will suit up
  • That means Wicks should step up and see a big increase in playing time
  • He has WR3+ upside if he ever gets a bump in playing time, which we should get here
  • Still not a slam dunk, as he’s my WR50 to open the week, 0 teams on bye
  • Could see Bo Melton/Malik Heath mixing in more than Wicks managers would like
  • Wicks is still worth an add/stash as he does carry injury upside if any of the top 3 WRs miss time, like this week

Xavier Legette (73%)

  • Mentioned I was high on him last week; solid 4/56/0 line in a tougher matchup
  • Has a great matchup this week against the Bucs, but their secondary is getting healthier with Jamel Dean back
  • The Panthers WR room is a bit more crowded with Adam Thielen back, but Legette’s role is secured, and TE Ja’Tavion Sanders is likely to miss, meaning more targets for WRs
  • Bryce Young is playing well, which should only help Legette’s stock
  • Ideally, you filled out your WR depth with Brian Thomas Jr. and Ladd McConkey in that WR40-50 sweet spot I was talking about before the season and didn’t need to be starting guys from the wire on a week with 0 BYEs
  • But if Legette is available, think he’s a rookie who is a sneaky stash for the home stretch here

Tight Ends

Will Dissly (48%)

  • Just continues to produce since becoming the lead TE back in Week 6
  • Now has 4+ catches in 6 of 7 games
  • Cashing on his props every week
  • Think they will look at the tape against Baltimore and realize they need to be throwing to him more
  • Opens the week as my TE11, and I think he continues to provide a high floor/stability at a very volatile position

Defense

Dallas Cowboys (71%)

  • Great matchup for them
  • Ton of sack potential with Tommy DeVito, sacked 4 times last week
  • Micah Parsons should eat on Thanksgiving
  • DaRon Bland is finally back, healthy, so pick 6s are back on the menu
  • The Cowboys have the perfect recipe for a defensive streamer play, and they open the week as my #2 defense

Kicker

Will Lutz Den (79%)

  • Apparently, I ended up ranking him K2 last week, and helped people win their matchup (so they told me) because he put up 20+ points
  • Again, it’s probably better to just look at my rankings closer to kickoff to see who my top-ranked kicker is who is available
  • But I do like Lutz as a streaming option here
  • He’s been solid this year, making 89% of his FGs, 4 from 50+
  • At home at Mile Hig,h meaning they can trust him on deeper kicks
  • It’s outdoors, so have to factor in the weather, not sure if this game will have any, but it will be reflected in my rankings closer to Sunday
