We’ll keep you updated on some of the day’s highest-impact trends by utilizing our Models and Vegas dashboard. Projected and confirmed lineups for every game can be found on our MLB Daily Lineups page.

White Sox (+161) at Reds (-175) — 7:10 PM EST

White Sox in: Jose Abreu (bruised left ankle)

White Sox out: Leury Garcia (jammed left finger)

Jose Abreu has been dealing with a bruised left ankle, but he’ll return to the lineup and bat third against the Reds. Leury Garcia will sit out due to a jammed left finger. The White Sox are presently implied to score a respectable 4.3 runs, although their lineup has combined to post a slate-low .277 wOBA vs. right-handed pitchers over the past 12 months. Only Yoan Moncada and Yolmer Sanchez have posted positive wOBA and ISO splits vs. righies over the past calendar year among White Sox starters. Both lineups will have to deal with sub-par weather conditions considering the White Sox-Reds’ matchup currently has the third-most hitter-friendly Weather Rating in Wednesday’s main slate. Sal Romano has pitched well recently, allowing two or fewer runs in three of his last four starts while pitching at least five innings in each of his last eight appearances. Exposure to Romano should be focused on DraftKings, where his $5,100 price tag comes with a +6.7 Projected Plus/Minus and a 72 percent Bargain Rating.

Pirates (+210) at Dodgers (-230) — 8:10 PM EST

Pirates in: Starling Marte (benched)

Pirates out: Josh Bell

The Pirates will go back to Starling Marte, who will bat second for a lineup presently implied to score just 3.2 runs against the Dodgers. Overall, they’ve combined to post a slate-low .285 wOBA vs. left-handed pitchers over the past calendar year. The Pirates will have their hands full with Rich Hill, who has allowed two or fewer runs in four of his last five starts. Still, Hill hasn’t done a great job limiting big hits recently, ranking among the main slate’s bottom-five pitchers in average batted ball distance, exit velocity, and fly-ball rate allowed over the past 15 days. He does carry a solid 6.4 K Prediction and has a good matchup against a Pirates lineup that has combined to strike out every .284 at bats over the past 12 months – the highest mark in Wednesday’s main slate. Hill is particularly in play on FanDuel, where his $7.600 salary comes with seven Pro Trends and an 87 percent Bargain Rating. Both pitchers will have to deal with estimated wind gusts of six miles per hour blowing out to center field.

Indians (-234) at Royals (+213) — 8:15 PM EST

Indians in: Greg Allen

Indians out: Brandon Guyer (left knee contusion)

The Indians are without Brandon Guyer, who is currently dealing with a left knee contusion. They’ll roll with Francisco LindorMichael Brantley, and Jose Ramirez at the top of the order for their matchup against the Royals. The Indians are presently implied to score an impressive 5.6 runs, which is the fourth-highest mark in Wednesday’s main slate. Overall, only Lindor and Roberto Perez have failed to post positive wOBA and ISO splits vs. right-handed pitchers over the past calendar year among Indians starters. They’re especially in play on DraftKings, where they boast the main slate’s second-highest Team Value Rating. Trevor Oaks will try to do better in his second start of the season, as he allowed 12 hits and five runs in hist five innings against the White Sox back in April. Oaks will at least need to do a better job limiting big hits, as he ranks among the main slate’s bottom-two pitchers in average batted ball distance, exit velocity, and hard-hit rate allowed over the past 12 months. Both offenses could benefit from estimated wind gusts of seven miles per hour blowing out to left field.
