bet365 Fantasy Sports looks to soon join the daily fantasy sports industry, battling established brands like DraftKings and FanDuel, as well as sites like PrizePicks and Underdog for their share of DFS users.
bet365 DFS has already launched across the pond, successfully marketing their fantasy sports product to “football” fans — or, as we say here, soccer.
Eyeing key U.S. states like Texas, California, Colorado, and more — bet365 DFS will certainly expand their sports offerings as they look to cater to the average U.S. fantasy sports user.
Most recently, bet365 announced a partnership with fantasy sports provider Scout Gaming Group to launch “Daily Lineups”, a free-to-play offering that allows users to compete against one another with a team they build. The service includes a variety of sports and is available since early 2024. The product should be a direct competitor to the Drafkings’ “Pick6” service.
While we wait for more official details surrounding this new product, here’s everything we expect to see from bet365 DFS, including a bet365 Fantasy bonus code.

Much like traditional DFS, users are allocated a bankroll and each player is given a certain salary depending on their expected performance. This style of daily fantasy, made famous by DraftKings and FanDuel, is not new to American consumers.
It would be surprising, though, if bet365 takes this route in the U.S., as it would pit them against the two DFS hegemons.
It’s more likely that we’ll see bet365 promote DFS Pick’em games, which are continuing to grow in popularity in the U.S.
PrizePicks proved that American fantasy sports fans have an appetite for this style of fantasy sports, and more companies have recently taken note.

Fantasy Pick’em is a form of daily fantasy sports in which users are tasked with predicting multiple player outcomes in a given game, day, or slate.
Unlike traditional fantasy and salary cap DFS, Fantasy Pick’em isn’t typically a peer-to-peer game. Instead, users are competing against the “house” or the operator.
Some fantasy sports fans, especially recreational users, prefer this style because they don’t have to face the pool of sharks that are winning GPP (guaranteed prize pools) at an overwhelming rate on other apps.
Instead, DFS pick’em tests users prediction skills. Think a projection is low on Patrick Mahomes? Then you can pick Mahomes to exceed his projected stat.
This may sound a lot like something else (we know what you’re thinking), but the definition of fantasy sports is very clear and uniform in the U.S.
Fantasy sports are a game of skill that includes two or more athletes and the results are dependent on accumulated statistics (player performance rather than the outcome of a game) from a real-world sporting event.
So users can’t win money by making only one pick. It must be combined with at least one other player prediction, and depending on the jurisdiction, that pick may have to come from an entirely different game than your first pick.
As many as 30 states in the U.S. allow a similar carveout and exception for fantasy sports platforms.

With over half of the United States allowing their residents to play real-money fantasy games that fit the above criteria, we expect bet365 Fantasy to launch aggressively in as many states as possible.

With a few exceptions, most of the states above have not yet passed legal sports betting but those located in the state can turn to fantasy apps if they want to play in real-money games.

There are no bigger states than Texas and California. Not only are the states massive in terms of population, but they also have major sports teams which means loyal sports fans that are already playing fantasy sports in some fashion.
Texas obviously has the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros, not to mention a ton of college football teams, including the Texas Longhorns
California is home to the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Dodgers just to name a few.
Legislators have tried to move sports betting forward in both states but to no avail. While the two states won’t be home to sports betting apps anytime soon, their residents are staying busy playing DFS.
FanDuel and DraftKings are both active in Texas, accepting fantasy deposits and entries. PrizePicks and Underdog are operating in both California and Texas, so we predict bet365 to follow suit if their product is in fact similar.
These states would be advantageous to move into, as bet365 Fantasy would acquire customers who could potentially turn into sports bettors whenever sports betting is legalized in each state.
This would give bet365 a leg-up on their competition in much of the same way DraftKings and FanDuel have had in legal sports betting states.

For now, we must sit and wait, but we’re very optimistic that a bet365 Fantasy app will be widely available in the U.S. sooner than later.
