Super Bowl Odds available at bet365

Remember that wagers will be added to bet365 up until kickoff. We expect an unprecedented number of different Super Bowl-related markets to be available on bet365 (and every other sportsbook for that matter) by the time the game starts. And there will even be live betting available after kickoff, so the action doesn’t stop when the game starts. That said, here are a few of the most interesting bet365 Super Bowl Special bets we have our eyes on.

Largest lead of the game by either team – Over/Under 14.5

If it’s a blowout by either team, the Over will obviously hit. But blowouts have become pretty rare in recent Super Bowls, the 2014 Seahawks 43-8 demolition of the Broncos notwithstanding. Most games have been competitive, which is likely why the Under is priced at -130.

KC Chiefs players to have a rush attempt – Over/Under 5.5

Another interesting bet. Of course, the Chiefs pass it A LOT, which might be why the Under is at -180. However, end-arounds and other trick plays often count as a rush, and those plays could lead to receivers counting toward the rush attempt total. Also remember that if Patrick Mahomes keeps it and runs, as he often does, that counts as a rush. In the AFC Championship game, five (5) different Chiefs players carried the ball. It seems unlikely, but the Over does offer a plus-money opportunity at +150.

Shortest Field Goal made in the game – Over/Under 27.5 yards

Another tricky one. A 27-yard kick means that the team is lined up at the opponent’s 10-yard line, which means the drive stalled out short of the end zone. Would either team really attempt a FG if they are already inside the 10? With Hurts and Mahomes being two of the top mobile QBs in the game, it seems more likely that their coaches would decide to go for it rather than kick a 27-yard (or shorter) field goal. However, scoring is usually at a premium in the Super Bowl, so maybe they would want to take the sure 3 points. The Over seems like a better bet, but this one certainly grabbed our attention due to the strategy involved.

Total Kickoffs in the game – Over/Under 10.5

The kickoffs to start the game and the second half count for 2 of the 10.5. Will there be 9 more scores in the game? The AFC Championship game was very close and had 11 total scoring plays. The NFC Championship game was not close at all and only had 6 total scoring plays, including just one field goal. The Over is slightly favored here, but if there are more TDs than FGs, the Under has a good chance of hitting. Another fascinating prop bet.
