NBA Opening Night – Barstool, BetMGM Preview
The NBA is starting off a few days early this year in order to give the players some additional off days throughout the long season. Joel Embiid for MVP – Philly is a dark horse championship team, lurking just behind the favorites. LeBron is Back – Of course, LeBron is back for another season in the NBA. His 20th year in the league should be a memorable one. He isn’t as quick as he once was, but he still plays at an extremely high level. Unfortunately for him, the Lakers aren’t expected to compete for a title (+1800 to win it all on BetMGM) because all his teammates are either old or unknown. Still, they’re the Lakers, and he is still LeBron, so we will never count him or his team out.
Warriors Run It Back – In case you have forgotten, the Warriors won it all last season. This was not a huge surprise, because they have been a dynasty for almost a decade now. It’s also not a huge surprise that they are one of the top picks to win it again in 2022-2023. If the team stays healthy, there’s no reason why Steph Curry (still only 34 years old) and Klay Thompson (32) can’t lead their team to yet another championship.
